Skincare?
What do you know about it?  What do you not know about it?  What would you like to know about it?  How can
the professionals at Mask Hair Designs and Day Spa close those gaps for you?

First, start by reading what is being said about the skincare line we, at Mask, use professionally and recommend
for at home maintenance.  Bioelements has integrity and the professionals delivering the services have been
educated and trained with the line since day one of their schooling with continuous educational updates at Mask
from a Bioelements trainer.   Let’s see what is being said …
How dry is your skin? Bioelements Vitalization hydrates!
May 28th, 2008
My skin is dry. It's always dry. It's dry during winter; it's dry during summer. I'm one of those people who HAS to put body crème (not
lotion-crème!!) on after my shower or my skin gets that scaly lizard thing going on, tres sexy, non? I have used the gamut of products,
ranging from dollar store finds that sounded too good to be true (and sometimes were) to department store crèmes that smelled lovely
but, kind of fell short in that I could put them on but within 12 hours, I was back to the same scaly lizard legs.

Bioelements Vitalization promises to "regulate moisture to banish dryness, smooth away rough surface cells, encourage a firmer body",
"restore radiance to skin", and "surround the body with the enticing aroma of pure botanical oils". I'm horrible about taking the time to
lotion up everyday, so I've been using this stuff on average of 5 times a week and I'm really pleased with the results.

This cream is really soft, smooth and not so thick it won't spread easily. It doesn't make your clothes smell weird, and even though it has
botanical oils in it, the smell of the oils doesn't interfere with your perfume. If you're like me and wear a perfume oil, it actually kind of
accentuates the scent. Bioelements Vitalization is infused with peptides & amino acids to renew skin and even tone. Apricot Kernel,
Olive, Grape, Rice Bran, Black Currant (which, gives such an interesting twist to the notes in this crème), Bergamot, Cardamom, Clove, &
Sunflower Seed oils hydrate, soften, and provide an amazingly radiant finish. Of course, shea butter is included in the ingredient list as
it's one of natures best when it comes to protecting skin from dehydration. Anti-oxidants like Red Tea and Beta Carotene provide
protection from those pesky free radicals we keep hearing about.

I've found, personally, that better results are yielded if, when I step out of the shower, I just quickly pat my skin dry (just enough to get
the water drops off) and immediately apply Vitalization. Talk about soft, smooth, fantastic legs and arms and tummy! And the really great
thing (at least one of my favorite things) is that once the crème is absorbed I'm not sticky, I rode in my brother's car (which has a leather
interior) and didn't leave prints on the seat from the oils, I didn't slide everywhere, and I didn't leave any kind of aromatic trace (btw, all
of these are really good things when it comes to my brother and his baby).

Bioelements Vitalization is available at select spas and salons nationwide for $49.50 (USD) for an 8 oz. container.
Treat your skin to Bioelements Recovery Serum
June 5, 2008
Bioelements Recovery Serum, I admit, was a little scary for me to use at first - pumping the serum into my hands the first time had me
thinking i was about to apply a big glob of oil on my face, and really I didn't need that! Fortunately, I already knew a hollywood makeup
artist uses it on many of her clients, and the information about what it does, who it's for, and that it's formulated with natural
ingredients, no mineral oils or weird synthetic fragrances that can irritate skin. So, really, I had nothing to be worried about.

Bioelements, as I have told you in a previous post, creates high-end, botanically based skin care products, each expertly crafted with a
blend of plant extracts, aromatherapy oils, trace minerals and other natural ingredients. The Recovery Serum contains cerimides to repair
and strengthen, while chamomile and lavender oil soothe and heal the skin.

Recovery Serum is perfect for individuals who have aging, rough textured, over-exfoliated, dehydrated or stressed skin. During the day it
is a perfect product to apply after moisturizer, just before your makeup, as it creates a smooth surface and really helps makeup to last
and look better longer. At night, use it after all other skincare products, on the eye area and on the neck. You'll wake up with refreshed,
well-hydrated skin!
Bioelements
The Bioelements line is a favorite of makeup artist Tifanie White. She is the makeup artist to many celebs including American Idol's
Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler, as well as Martie McGuire of The Dixie Chicks. Tifanie White's favorites include the Bioelements
Moisture Positive Cleaner, a rich lotion cleanser with a mild foaming action that contains aromatherapist oils. She also loves the
Bioelements Recovery Serum, a silky serum that gives an exceptional smooth-as-glass finish. "What a beautiful product," says Tifanie,
"it always gives a glow." All products are available at Bioelements spas nationwide.

Facial in a Jar
June 12, 2008

My skin doesn't like anything harsh on it.  I can't do lip plumpers, and if I use any exfoliator that's too chemically based, my face screams
out in pain.

So, when I discovered Bioelements Kerafole Deep Exfoliating Mask, I was delighted! This mask, while it initially does tingle a lot, leaves
skin feeling smoother, looking brighter and really helps to control my blackhead problem.

It contains no synthetic fragrances, artificial colorants or animal by-products, and is glycolic acid-free.  Not only does it makes my skin
glow, but the mask smells fresh (like sea water) and at $45.00, is a bargain, in my opinion.  What a great product to help your skin stay
healthy between facials and you won't use a lot so the jar will last a long time.  www.productwhores.com
Crucial Moisture
May 27, 2008
Ever since I tried the Body Moisturizer by Bioelements, I have become a huge fan of their skincare line.

My most recent obsession is the perfectly named Crucial Moisture, which really makes my skin feel fantastic.  Made with all sorts of
incredible things like Watercress, Sage and Rosemary; this thick, yet non-greasy, facial treatment is not tested on animals and contains
no synthetic fragrance or artificial colorants.  So basically, I may eat tons of artificial junk, but my skin is well taken care of!

I love how this cream smells (must be all the aroma therapist oils it contains) and really can't go on enough about how smooth, well
hydrated and glowing my skin looks.

Perfect for anyone with dry or combination skin.  At under $40, Crucial Moisture is an extremely well priced cream. I consider it a winner
all around!  www.productwhores.com
Bioelements - Power of Oxygen Kit
June 12, 2008
I haven't talked about Bioelements in a good little while now - but I am still the biggest fan of Sleepwear that ever was.  That is the
best nighttime moisturizer *evah.*

They have a fabulous new kit called The Power of Oxygen Kit, consisting of two products that work together to fight aging.

This is what Bioelements says about the products:  Your skin is a living, breathing organ. But it can suffocate from normal aging, the sun,
pollution, and other environmental aggressors, making you look older than you should. Give your skin a deep breath of fresh air with
Oxygen Cocktail and Oxygenation. Two high-performance specialists designed to enhance the skin's protective barrier and "push"
oxygen into the surface layers.

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and it really is nice.  While it could be considered a bit of a PITA to apply two
products instead of one good old cream, I always use several serums and potions, so this is very natural for me.  I love the tube that
the serum is in, you can get every last drop of product out, so yay for Bioelements! The Power Of Oxygen Kit retails for $89.
Bioelements Amino Mask
Thursday, June 26, 2008
If you have acne prone skin, like me, and are looking for a fabulous new way to control it, I recommend you get yourself Bioelements
Amino Mask. It's the best, most effective mask I have ever used! I think I can say it's an HG product!

I have used many masks to control my acne. And not to say that they didn't work, but they didn't work like this one. I usually would
have to use a mask several times before I saw results. The Amino Mask shows skin improvements overnight. I know, I know, there are
other masks on the market, one in particular comes to mind, that claim to work overnight, but they didn't work for me.

Bioelements Amino Mask is a salicylic acid mask that also contains sulfur, a great anti-bacterial ingredient. It helps to unclog pores and
control oil-production (an added bonus), as well as, calm the skin. It gives a cooling sensation while it sits on my face, which feels lovely
(especially with the weather I've been living with lately!). 15 minutes later, my skin feels fresh and soft. The best part-- it clears up
existing acne, and prevents new flare-ups.

I have two kids, who are now both home on summer break, so I'm a little stressed sometimes! And as you might know, stress can
sometimes show up on the face. Now I don't have to worry about it. This mask that could also work well as a spot treatment has got my
back.
Bioelements Instant Emollient
Tuesday, June 3, 2008
Alright, back to business, Bioelements Instant Emollient ($20) is a multi-purpose product, and who doesn't love that?

It looks like a tube of lipstick, but can be used anywhere you may need some extra moisture (i.e. around the eye area, lips). It relieves
dryness and soothes irritated or chapped skin, and helps to prevent chapping.

For use on the lips, you can apply it under lipstick or use alone for silky smooth lips. If you do apply before using lip color, let it soak into
lips for a few minutes, blot, then apply lip color. You can also put it on top of your lip color for shine.

And for those of you who are interested in the ingredients, here are the active ones:
Tocopherol Acetate (vitamin E, healing, antioxidant); Octyl Methoxycinnamate (non-paba sunscreen); Rose (regenerating, moisturizing);
Aloe (healing); Ginseng, Sumac, Gotu Kola, Dong Quai and Watercress (adaptogenic herbs that support and strengthen the skin, helping
it withstand stress).

I have been using it for about a week now. I have worn it alone and under my lip-gloss. It instantly makes my lips feel better. It is very
smooth and not too heavy on my lips. It's actually really light. I have not tried it around my eye area. I don't really have an issue with
dryness around the eyes since I started using eye crème. But it might be good if I were to go somewhere with less humidity and I
needed some extra moisture.
Bioelements Review:  Decongestant Cleanser
MONDAY, JUNE 2, 2008
Everyone needs a good cleanser. You need one that cleans off all of your makeup, doesn't irritate your skin or over dry your skin
resulting in after wash dryness.

I found just such a cleanser during my visit to Total Woman Day Spa; it was one of the best products that I purchased on the
recommendation of Beth, my esthetician.  I have been meaning to write her about it, but somehow really never got around to it.  Last
month I finished my bottle, which meant I had "tested" myself through an entire full size product, I loved it so much!

The cleanser is gentle, rinsing off easily, causing me no irritation, no after wash tightness.  Personally, I find it gentle enough that I can
use it to remove my eye makeup!
